Dear Boxing Patrons,
I hope all of you had a pleasant holiday and a Happy New Year. On behalf of Blue Horizon Boxing Promotions, Inc. we would like to thank you for the support you gave us during the 2007 season. Special thanks to our Season Ticket Holders, fighters, Special Guests, Announcers and Singers for their special dedication to us.
During 2007 we had some exciting events featuring some of the outstanding up and coming local fighters, such as Steve Chambers, Max Alexander, Chazz Witherspoon, Gee Cullmer, Paul Fernandez, Jules Blackwell and Harry Yorgey just to name a few. We saw great guests such as Tex Cobb, Steve Cunningham, Bob Johnson, Butch Lewis, Tim Witherspoon, Jackie Fraizer-Lyde, Eddie Chambers and others.
We had an opportunity to broadcast our shows on Comcast SportsNet with a viewing audience from coast to cost and north to south. Some viewers picked it up by satellite. Our boxers came from Ireland, Israel, Canada, the Islands and Africa. They were both women and men; all coming to fight and win. As patrons you came from England, France, Russia, Sweden, Porto Rico, Ireland, Middle East, Mexico and more to cheer them on. You were from all walks of life, yet through a common bond enjoyed the energy and synergy of The Grand Dame- The Legendary Blue Horizon.
We asked you to support our local children in agencies at our December Boxing Show and you did just that. In fact one patron did not remembering to bring a gift for a needy child. He asks us to come to his store and select $100 worth of toys for the cause. Others gave a contribution as they left. Through your support we made many children happy this season.
Our December show featured one of the best fights of the year between Lennie Divictoria and Elad Shmoul with and outstanding win by Lennie. But now we turn our attention to 2008 and look forward to and even better year. Our Valentine Special will feature several great Eight Rounders, special guests and a special solute to Tex Cobb. Join us in celebrating his latest accomplishment. Look for more information in the next week.
Thanks again for your support.
Sincerely,
Vernoca
